The 29 year old, Metropolitan Police officer was reportedly warned not to take part in Nigerian Big Brother by her bosses but she went ahead to defile that warning. She was, however, granted unpaid leave which permitted her the luxury of time which she is spending in the house.
The Met spokesperson told UK Sun that the force is aware that the officer has appeared on the show without authority and an investigation has been set up.
A statement published on their website reads:
“The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation into the circumstances. The Met does not support the officer’s appearance nor does she represent the Met whilst appearing on the show. All officers have a duty to behave with professionalism and in a manner that does not bring the Met into disrepute whether on or off duty. Those who do not behave professionally risk breaching police standards of professional behaviour, and may be dealt with by way of misconduct proceedings.”
However, the reality star’s management said the reports were not only derogatory but sensational. The 29-year-old officer’s management claimed that the UK Sun failed to inquire or get her side of the story before publishing the article.
