#Fraud: EFCC raids Lagos state former governor, Ambode’s residence

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) earlier today, reportedly raided the residence of the immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode in Epe.

According to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's  spokesman, Tony Orilade, the commission was at Ambode’s residence on an investigation 

“Investigation is on-going in respect of the petition we have, that is why we are here,” he said.

This investigation is over the alleged N9.9b of the Lagos State government which was initially linked to Ambode.
