A 26 year old drunk driver identified as Jake Waterhouse, crashed into
Anna Evans tent while she was on holiday with her family at about 2am.
Anna reportedly spent more than a week critically ill in hospital where she died.
According to the Metro, Anna's son Richard paid tribute to his mum saying:
"Tonight I had to say goodbye to the most amazing woman I’ve ever known. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.
"She was my mother, my best friend, my rock and I’m going to miss her so so much. ‘She inspired me to do music, art and to always “do the next interesting thing”. I know I’ll do you proud.
‘I love you, Mam. I hope you’re dreaming of a starry night. Here’s to the next interesting thing.’ Anna lived in Aberystwyth, West Wales, with her husband Huw, 57, who is a groundsman at the town’s university.
However, the driver, Waterhouse, was remanded in custody to appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on September 23 as he is currently facing murder charges
