Over 5 houses have been sealed off by the Ogun State government because they reportedly lack toilet facilities.

According to report, the Ogun State government is currently embarking on the implementation of the law against open defecation in the state.
The state government through the officials of the state Environmental Health Management sealed some houses in Igbore and in Isale-Ake, all in Abeokuta South Local Government Area.
According to the Punch, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Mrs. Yetunde Dina said, the exercise was a way of curbing open defecation in the state.
“The state government could no longer allow them to flout the earlier warnings to them to provide toilets, as it has been discovered that majority of their inhabitants, if not all are involved in Open Defecation.” She said.
