A bedridden and paralysed Hull man has spoken of the devastation he feels at not knowing how long he has left to live.
David Walker, 61, has organ failure that means he only has months left to live, and relies on vital medication and domestic support at home to stay alive.
According to Hull Online, he has been unable to walk for more than 30 years after he was hit by a bottle thrown at him in the street, which severely damaged his spine.
The father-of-two has also suffered with HIVthat he has managed through medication for more than nine years.
Being diagnosed with a terminal illness has been extremely hard for Mr Walker to cope with and he says he "prays every day will not be his last."

"I'm a palliative patient receiving care from home. I'm not sure how long I've got left to live and everyday I'm just hoping for another month, but I've been told it's less than a year and I've asked to die at home," said Mr Walker.
"It's hell. I've got lung, liver and pancreas failure and I'm only 61, but look about 81"
"I also have HIV that was diagnosed nine years ago and if I miss a couple of days of my HIV treatment it gets very serious as it could then turn into AIDS, and then I'd be history."
"When the doctors gave me the news that I'm dying I started crying and just wanted my mam. It was so hard to handle and I still can't really cope.
"Not a day goes by that I pray I don't go tomorrow but when I do die, I want to be here at home overlooking the river." He concluded.
