Mother and her three children killed in Magodo building collapse

One Mrs. Jumiah Utache and her three children have allegedly been killed after their house in the Orisha community, Magodo, Lagos state, collapsed during the heavy downpour today Saturday, October 12th.

According to reports from Newsmen, the General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency Femi Oke-Osayintolu, confirmed the incident.

Mr Femi said the incident happened at number 48, Orisa Street, Magodo Phase One, Isheri Waterfront killing her 3 children Faith(9), Domino(2), and one-year-old Daniel.

He said the bodies of the deceased mother and children have been recovered and deposited in a morgue. He added that efforts are ongoing to find more people believed to be trapped in the rubble.
