The senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London, Matthew Ashimolowo, has been listed by Busola Dakolo as part of witnesses in her suit against the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Busola's lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, wants the court to compel Fatoyinbo to publish a clearly worded apology to Busola on the front page of at least two national newspapers and two national televisions for seven days running consecutively. She is also asking for N10 million as cost of legal action against Fatoyinbo.
Pastor Ashimolowo, however, on Sunday paid a surprise visit to Fatoyinbo at COZA headquarters in Abuja, becoming the first notable cleric to visit the church after the rape allegation caused a storm.
We hope that this doesn't get messy at the end.
