Pregnant woman dies, 16 others missing as boat capsizes in Lagos

A pregnant woman has died in a boat mishap that occured in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state yesterday Saturday June 29th.

According to reports, the boat which was transiting from Badore to Egbin in Ijede Ikorodu, capsized at about 10pm. 

Three persons survived the incident, one person which is the pregnant woman died while 16 others have been declared missing.

None of the passengers were putting on a life jacket when the incident happened. The survivors said the boat driver who was not on duty, was returning from where he had gone to repair his boat when he met them and they pleaded with him to take them to Egbin.

Sadly, the boat capsized shortly after takeoff.  The boat driver is also among the missing persons. Efforts are being made to find and rescue the mising ones. 

14-year old boy found trekking from Imo State to his hometown in Abia State after running away from his abusive madam

A concerned N, Ikechukwu Osuji (pictured) has narrated how he helped a 14-year-boy he found along the highway trekking to his hometown in Abia State from Imo State after he ran away from his 'abusive madam'. read below: 

Touching story of molested Abia boy Child 

On my way from IMO to abia this morning I met a boy trekking on a lonely highway, I was moved that he needs help: I pulled over and called him, he narrated a painful story.

He said he was 14years old and was trekking from IMO to bend local government in umuahia abia state. A journey over 30 killometers according to my findings he ran away from a woman he was serving as a maid. 

He said the woman use to maltreat him to the extend he flogs him on the rip often. He has sleeped outside for three days. And this is the third time such thing is happening to him and made up his mind to trek home.

I took him and changed my direction to bende local government to the extent we got to a bad road I packed and pick a bike to over three extra kilometer which I paid 700 to motorbike and on the way got to a river that only leg can cross we walked/swim and crossed to his poor home. 

The kids in the village and parents was happy that he was home.the parents said the madam called three days ago that he was missing. I m happy to help him home. 

Please let's help others as we wish to be helped,  kids are stubborn but which ever way control them with love or take them home if you don't want them to serve you again. 

What of if he died in the forest?  What if he landed in the hands of evil men. 

Please what so ever you wish that men should do to you, do also to them.

Church Wedding is no Better Than Voodoo Ritual- Reno Omokri

A lot has changed about marriage ever since God invented it while man was in the Garden of Eden. God made marriage to be a simple thing, but ever since man fell from grace and left Eden, we have been adding our own rules to make what is the most simple institution one of complexity.

If you study marriage from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, it bears no resemblance to what is being passed off as marriage in this day and age. There have been priests of God, from Melchizedek, to Jesus, our High Priest. None of them officiated weddings. But is that the case today? 

I have studied The Bible from cover to cover, multiple times and in various translations, and I have never once come across a marriage that was performed in a synagogue, temple or church by a priest. Biblical marriages happened in the home of the couples’ parents. 

2 Timothy 3:16 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” Since this is the case, where does the inspiration for a White Wedding come from? Certainly, not from God’s Word. 

When I first taught on this, one of my followers told me that I was wrong because a priest in his church (name withheld) has told him that if he does not marry in church, the church would not recognise that marriage. 

My response to him was and is, why does your church have to recognise marriage for it to be valid? Who gave them that power and authority? And from whom and where does he get his doctrine from? From his Prost and his church or from his God and His Bible? 

The power of a PRIEST or PASTOR to pronounce a couple 'MAN and WIFE' comes from MAN, not from GOD. Read The Bible for yourself. It is God's letter to YOU. There is nothing like that in The Bible. Marriage is PURELY a FAMILY matter, not a CHURCH matter. It involves the couple and their parents ONLY. The first time marriage was mentioned in The Bible, it proceeded from God’s Mouth DIRECTLY. He said “Therefore shall a MAN leave his FATHER and his MOTHER, and shall cleave unto his WIFE”-Genesis 2:24. Jesus played NO PART in the MARRIAGE at Cana. He was invited as a GUEST. The only thing He did was turn WATER to WINE during the FEAST that FOLLOWED the WEDDING. If you want to justify CHURCH WEDDING, then couples should go to church with WATER for the PASTOR to turn to WINE. 

A lot of people are deceived by carefully crafted words. When a church uses the term 'marriage RITES', they are talking about RITUALS that are no better than voodoo RITUALS. CHURCH WEDDING is an unbiblical RITUAL. One of the worst thing in that EUROPEAN CULTURE passed off as BIBLICAL DOCTRINE is the use of the phrase 'for BETTER for WORSE, in SICKNESS and in HEALTH'. Do you know that is a CURSE? You are accepting an evil prophecy. God's testimony about you and your marriage is that "GOODNESS and MERCY shall follow you ALL (not SOME) the days of your life"-Psalm 23:6. You CONFESS your FAITH, not your FEARS. 

The truth is that many of these customs that we erroneously call Christian are in reality European customs that have over the years come to dominate Christendom. Nevertheless, no matter how far you have gone down a wrong route, you cannot get to your destination by going down that route. 

To show you how simple biblical marriage is, I will now break it down into the most elementary steps to make it easy to comprehend and then compare with Scripture. 

MARRIAGE according to The Bible.

Step 1: Man approaches Woman

Step 2: Man proposes marriage to Woman

Step 3: Woman accepts proposal

Step 4: They both tell their parents

End of process!

Every other thing, including CHURCH and REGISTRY is MAN MADE!

The things of God are not EASY, but they are SIMPLE. The things of satan are EASY, but they are COMPLICATED.

And I urge my readers not to take my word for it. Search the Scriptures. Be like The Berean Christians. This is what The Bible says about the Bereans: “Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”

Do this with me and what I have taught you here. Subject my words to a test of The Bible to see if they pass the test. Then take your own church’s doctrine and do the same to them. 

Remember what Jesus said in John 8:32:

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Pastor Shola Olapade of Dominion city Condemns critics on COZA says Allow God To Judge

Pastor Shola Olapade, the resident pastor of Dominion City HQ, Lagos has urge Christians to avoid drawing conclusions on the rape allegation labelled against Pastor Fatoyinbo Abiodun by Busola Dakolo, wife of ace musician Timi Dakolo.

He however added that God is the ultimate judge and that christians should learn to hear from God first before jumping into conclusion on issues. 

He said 

"if you are in adversity, don't look for someone that will tell you things from his soul, look for someone who will tell you what God says on an issue. If your words does not restore, comfort and wholeness, don't speak".

He also urge Nigerians to send words of encouragement and healing to both the accused Pastor Fatoyinbo and the accuser, Busola.

My Rape Experience - The Nightmare

I appreciate the fact that a few persons came to me personally to redress my take on the Pastor Abiodun  and Busola's rape issue, and I have taken redress where ever necessary.

You see this rape thing, a lot of us women have been victims at one point or another maybe not actually raped but attempted rape.

But we also have this fear of speaking out because we feel ashamed by it and we end up harbouring the hurts in our hearts and hatred for whoever attempted such with us.



On a personal note, I have had way over 3 attempt of rape so I could understand atleast a percent of what it feels like to be dragged down by someone who least deserve you and who also want to take advantage of you.

First by a distance relative of an inlaw who was expectedly supposed to be a brother, than by a friend and a former colleague..

So you see, most girls no longer feel safe..

However, I still feel there are a few things a lady can do if accosted by this.


First your can scream.
Yes, this I did. Told the bastard I was going to scream if he doesn't stop and he took it for granted thinking i was those kind of girls who get frightened by anything.
He pushed me to the wall when I did scream and gave way so I could walk. Of course, after trying to cover my mouth countless times. He was also afraid of not getting caught after all.

Shame on him.
       
              

Second, you can attempt to fight back with a weapon you can access..

I can remember vividly I had to stab my supposed in law's relative with a key I was with...
I locked my sister's shop that afternoon and he cajoled me into a dark room. There was no one at home, it was just me and him.. stopped him repeatedly with it and he  had to let go of me.

See, rape is not a welcomed rumor as many of you may perceived but until you are a victim, you can never know how deep this can penetrate..I might have forgiven these people but the question is would I have forgiven them, if they had their way in?

I rest my case and I do hope that we all stay safe.

Before i knew what was Going On they have Forcefully taken away my handbag ,and Pushed Me Out Of the Speeding Car. That was the Least i Remembered.

i Woke Up in the Hospital after Many Hours Of Unconsciousness (Coma). And Was told that Some Good Samaritans Carried Me to the Hospital were i was Giving Urgent Medication & Attention.

This are the Exact Words Of the Doctor " IF YOU WEREN'T HERE AS AT THE TIME YOU WERE BROUGHT, I'M AFRAID YOU WOULDN'T 'VE MADE IT".

Bcuz i actually hittd My head and my Chest(breast) against the Culvet, and My Skull got broken with Many bruises On my body !
NOW THIS IS THE TESTIMONY:

(1) No internal Head Or body injury was Sustained, (CT SCAN proved). Ordinarily Such Case's Usually Ends Up with a Severe brain Problem (Lost of Memory), internal bleeding ,Etc.

(2)There was no Coming vehicle, else i would've been Crushed when i was Pushed Out of the Car. Bcuz this is a busy Speed lane that Never lacks Cars On it.

(3)The Driver was leta Apprehended as his Culprits Asconded .My phones were Recovered with Other Valuables .

(4)Above All , My Precious Life was Spared. Atleast I'm very Much alive to Share this Testimony My Self. The Enemy Meant it for Evil but Jehovah turned it to My Favor. That's why i Call this God :

Lam 3:37: Who Can say and it Come to Pass when God has not Commanded ? Nobody My brothers/Sisters. Indeed they planed My Death but the Master Planner Changed Dia Game plan and Gave Me Life Even More Abondantly(Jh 10:10).
